A Physical Solution
Many people are familiar with massage, but perhaps not formal massage therapy. Massage is used and advertised to many as a luxurious, rare expense, one that is often thought of as a relaxing reward for tolerating stressful times or celebration. In actuality, massage therapy is a service to help keep you at your best and should be implemented regularly instead of sparingly. Massage can be relaxing, gentle, and aimed to combat stress or anxiety, but it is also a means to promote healing and restore function to the body. At Balance , we offer both of these variations within our office and blend them to your specific needs!
Our aim is maximal benefits for our patients through effective treatment techniques. To that end, we put emphasis into working with whatever method, or blend of methods, suit a particular case best. As example, the soothing effects of effleurage and superficial fascia work may be just what an overstressed office worker needs to restore their mental and emotional energy. Otherwise, a deep tissue and trigger point focused massage session may prove to restore inhibited range of motion to the arm of a hurt construction worker. Though the presentation of conditions may vary from person to person, the potential improvements are uniformly astounding.
We believe it is important to have maximal relief from pain and optimal function of the body.
We believe you should be in Balance.
Call or visit our office to find out how we can help you. We look forward to seeing you!

These stones can help to reduced inflammation and swelling in overworked muscles, as well as applied around the face and head to aid in reducing headaches, TMJ issues, sinus pressure, and skin irritation.
Cupping Therapy – $20
Add a treatment of vacuum-sealing cups that hold superficial connective tissue and muscle for a short duration before releasing and relaxing specific areas. Multiple cups may be used simultaneously during your treatment and may leave marks on the skin of their contact points, which is normal for this modality.
